Western Star's NEW 5700XE: Aero by Design

Daimler truck designer Don Vena was acting like a proud father the day we interviewed him about his latest creation - the Western Star 5700XE. And with good reason - it's not every truck designer that gets to see his vision larger than life in a big Hollywood blockbuster, let alone as one of the main stars of the movie. In fact, one look at Don's sketches was all it took for Michael Bay to decide he wanted the 5700XE as his Optimus Prime!

But the 5700XE is much more than just a movie prop! As the first aerodynamic truck in Western Star's line-up, it's a mould breaker of the first order.
