Race Winning Intervals | Indoor Cycling Session On The Passo Falzarego

Todays session consists of:
A 5 minute steady warmup
2 minutes at tempo (that's 80% of your threshold)
5x Intervals
2 minutes of easy spinning between each interval
Each interval consists of:
30 seconds as hard as you can
2 minutes at threshold
Another 30 seconds as hard as you can
These intervals are pretty hard, so if the stunning dolomites aren't enough to take your mind off them, why not try visualising a race. The first 30 seconds you are attacking the bunch, then for 2 minutes you are maintaining your gap, and finally the final 30 seconds you are kicking to the line trying to hold off the chasing pack. What race you choose and who you're beating is up to you!
