A new beginning in the Championship. Years of misery ahead as we pay off debts. A transfer embargo ongoing. Very few players signed on. Has the modern game helped all clubs run up massive debt in the belief that they can service tis debt with TV money? Or is the problem with bad owners, who don't really like football. Do these owners exploit fans with ridiculous admission charges?
Have the days gone forever where we can watch a club like Nottingham Forest win the European Cup??? Is the Premier League any good? Is it competetive?
Afterall only 4 winners in 18 years is a poor record for a good league.
