BR Hills: Biligiriranganatha Betta or forest located in yalandur taluk,chamarajanagara district of Karnataka state. This place is known for its "Tiger Reserve", temple & its rich forest which is also home for Many wild animals like Elephant, gaurs, cheetah, deers, Bovines, different kinds of coloured squirrels & many other. This forest is also have vast variety of Birds.
This place is declared as "Tiger Reserve" in the year 2011 by Government of Karnataka. Weather on top of the hills is cool & pleasant in most time of the year.
The place is also known as Bilikal Betta, swethaadri & Gajaranya. This hill ranges found as starting point of eastern ghats, and also very near to western ghats. So this place is very important corridor linking fauna & flora of eastern & western ghats.
