Travato 🚐💨 Journey To Alaska - Whew! We Made It To Dawson City!

Our journey to Alaska in our Travato van continues as we reach the end of the Alaska Highway for us and have a great time with friends at Dawson City. We learned a long time ago that along the journey it’s always the people we meet and become friends with that forge a permanent place in our memories. It’s not the walk through town that we’ll remember many years from now but the folks from Germany, Switzerland, Alaska and Florida who shared our laughs and fun with us. We’ve learned to be ourselves and surround ourselves with friends who make us laugh and make us look at the world around us, not just the city we happen to be in. In what might be the most random video we’ve produced, you’ll get a look at our lighter side as we let loose and just have fun with our new friends. And back by popular demand, you’ll get to hear me perform part of 2 songs... 1 even has Marco accompanying me on the picnic table drum. All in all it was a fun time and now that we think back on it we realize it was largely because we’d just traveled across the most remote, beautiful and challenging highway thus far and that few days of “whew... we made it!” was something we really needed. Little did we know that the Dalton Highway would make this look like a just paved expressway but that’s fun for a future video.
