The Bakhtiari River, Iran #Palm40years

Take a look back on one of our legendary ambassadors Dave Manby's expedition to the Bakhtiari River in Iran. A true pioneer in expedition kayaking, Dave completed his historic descent of the Dudh Khosi in 1976. Having driven through Iran en route to Nepal, he returned to paddle the Sezar, Dez, Karun and Bakhtiari Rivers. He says that paddling the Bakhtiari with Bob Marchant and Deb Cook was one of the highlights of his career.
