Suunto M3 Compass review

NOTuNOTme review of the Suunto M3 Global compass. I recommend it, it's good value for money given the features. It's not perfect (don't use this with night vision preserving red light torches) but does a lot of things right. The ability to adjust it for magnetic declination will be something that appeals to people who struggle to transfer bearings to/from compass and map.

Since this has a gobal needle (compass can be used anywhere in the world) you're able to get the best deal you can find on the internet and know that it will work where you live.
I meant to say "on the East coast you have a Easterly declination, and on the West coast it changes to a Westerly declination". In Brisbane it'ss 11 degrees Easterly (+11) but by the time you're reached Perth it's swung to a 4 degree Westerly declination (-4).
