35 races are down in the NASCAR Cup Series season and we only have one race left to decide a champion for the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and the NASCAR Cup Series. You would think that this would be all that the NASCAR fandom would be talking about, especially with NASCAR’s Most Popular driver Chase Elliott being involved. But instead it seems that the majority, and if not then maybe the plurality, of NASCAR fans are talking about the flaws in the championship system. What are they and why did NASCAR get to this point. What decisions were made in the last 20 years that led us down this road. Well buckle up because we need to talk about the NASCAR Playoffs...
