Again tune your LinkedIn profile - skills, keywords etc. Keywords could be UiPath, Blue Prism, RPA etc. Will the number of connections matter? Be active in the RPA community.

Should you answer all recruiters? No, some recruiters will just pump you for informations. Ask them questions to spot the good recruiters like Harrison and his colleagues at Edge Tech.

Should the RPA developer prepare for the initial interview? Probably not, but you need to know your experience in and out. Be as honest as possible about your experience and skills. Watch the video interview to learn, what skills you need to focus on. Showing interest in the job will also move you ahead of others.

Learn one of the big tools like UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Automate. On the side it's great to have a second tool - feel free to chose one of the smaller ones. Aside from RPA look at the next step: Chatbots, AI, ML etc. Programming experience to a certain degree will also help you.
