Prototype of SB-1 Defiant modern coaxial helicopter conducts first flight

Sikorsky-Boeing team conducted the first flight of a prototype of the new SB-1 Defiant modern coaxial helicopter at a West Palm Beach, Florida.

According to aerospace giants, this revolutionary aircraft, developed by Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company, and Boeing, will help inform the next generation of military helicopters as part of the U.S. Army’s Future Vertical Lift program.
