Edd China Car collection. Why did he leave the show? What is he doing in 2021?

Edward John China, who is popular as Edd China is a popular English television presenter, mechanic, inventor and a motor specialist who is well known through his show, Wheeler Dealers which airs on the Discovery channel. He also appeared in other shows like; Top Gear, Scrapheap Challenger, Auto Trader and Fifth Gear.
Edd China announced his official departure from the show, Wheelers Dealers through his YouTube Channel. The four-minute video on his official YouTube channel explains the reason why he left the Wheeler Dealers.
In the video he says, “Yes I am afraid it is true, and I am really sorry. After thirteen years of making Wheelers Dealers now I am leaving Wheelers dealers. Wheeler Dealer is a great car show and had millions of viewers across the globe with only growing numbers. Making the show is no easy task and requires a dedicated number of people. Edd China on Wheeler Dealers starts said that they had started it in a niche channel in the UK. Michael Wood, Dan Allum and The Attaboy were the founders of the show. It was exactly the worldwide popularity and sheer size of audience coupled with lack of brand endorsements and product placements within the show that the Discovery Channel and Velocity teams saw an opportunity to further exploitation of the brand,”
Also, to clear the confusion of the audience, he said that the Velocity team was not able to accomplish the remodeling process in the current format. He also said that the remodeling jobs were difficult and he had to put a lot of effort into it. So, he said that the new direction that he was leading to would make him easier. He said that he was thankful to everyone that he worked with for more than 13 years and it was a great privilege to work with the teammates of the show. Also, she asked the audiences to love his new replacement, Ant Anstead who would be taking his place.
However, Mike Brewer said, “He did some very bad things and was not generous to Discovery Channel. He was given a way out and he took it. After Edd China on Wheeler Dealers have ended the contract, he will be seen in new shows and projects.” While the audience questioned him about Edd China leaving the show.
Hence, let’s hope that Edd China is doing great after he left the show. He revealed that he was waiting for the right kind of funding for his new project.
