Llega el final de nuestra aventura en Santa Marta. En uno de los dos últimos días pasamos la frontera departamental entre Magdalena y La Guajira para llegar hasta Palomino. Este destino tiene mucho que ofrecer, desde hostales innovadores hasta restaurantes totalmente alternativos. Pudimos disfrutar de la gastronomía local y también de una naturaleza exuberante en la desembocadura del río Palomino. Nuestro último día lo dedicamos a un lugar espectacular muy cerca de Santa Marta: Minca. Este corregimiento incrustado en la las estribaciones de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta ofrece un excelente café y también cacao. Nos despedimos de Santa Marta seguros de volver y conocer mucho más de lo que tiene por ofrecer esta hermosa ciudad.

The end of our adventure in Santa Marta has come to its end. In one of the last two days we crossed the departmental border between Magdalena and La Guajira to arrive to Palomino. This place has a lot to offer, from really innovative hostels to totally alternative restaurants. We could delight of the local gastronomy and of the exuberant nature at Palomino’s river mouth. Our last day was dedicated to a very amazing place close to Santa Marta: Minca. This small town is embedded in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and offers delicious coffee and cocoa. We said goodbye to Santa Marta sure of returning someday to visit all we left of this amazing city.
