Ian Collins is joined by Mayuran Senthilnathan and Richard Corbett to debate Starmer’s claims that Farage is pledging ‘fantasy’ policies.

Mayuran Senthilnathan, former Reform parliamentary candidate, argues that it is Labour themselves who are living out ‘fantasy’ economics in real time.

He thinks that in going after Farage in this way, Starmer has ‘initiated’ Reform as the initial opposition instead of the Tories.

Richard Corbett, former Labour EU leader, argues that Reform have not properly balanced the number and are making unfunded promises.

Ian Collins is also joined by former UBS chief economist George Magnus who says that Farage has it easy in his current position, as he can make grand promises.
