Gadget Corner...
Basting threads: used to mark grids on the fabric to aid in counting

COATS Upolstery and Craft threads are polyester and come in a variety of colors. They can be found in a sewing store or the sewing area in a department store. Readily available and fairly easy to use.

Sulky spools are synthetic as well as metallic and they lay flat. Like COATS, they are multi-colored and found in sewing shops such as Joann’s.

Easy Count Guideline is nylon and is found in Needlework stores (LNS’s).
Also available through Amazon, Michaels, Etsy, EBay, online Walmart and many more sources. These are to name a few, a simple search online will produce many of the sources.
