The One Young World Global Leadership Charter | Kuleana

Strong leaders take responsibility for their actions. 💪

Kuleana is a Hawaiian concept that means stewardship, or taking responsibility, and is one of the seven principles that make up the new One Young World Global Leadership Charter.

As explained by our Ambassador, @jenna.kehaulani, “It is all of our kuleana to help take care of the land and uplift our community so that we can grow stronger together.

Jenna lives by the principle of kuleana every day in her role as Business Development Manager at Aloha United Way, an organisation connecting key stakeholders with community services and programmes in Hawaii, to advance the health, education and financial stability of the community.

At One Young World, we take our kuleana seriously by making informed, compassionate decisions, being respectful, and finding strength in our global community of inspirational leaders.
