Widor - Toccata - St. Sernin - Chorzempa

Daniel Chorzempa plays the famous Toccata from Charles-Marie Widor's fifth symphony for organ - opus 42 no 1.
The instrument is the fabulous Cavaillé-Coll organ from 1888 in Basilique St. Sernin, in Toulouse, France.
A very nice recording from 1983. No longer available.

One of my favourite interpretations of this piece. A bit fast, I know, but with phenomenal rhythmic precision and articulation. I think that Widor would have been very pleased with this performance.
