This film uses micro-photography and magnification to portray the habits and life history of the common housefly and the ways in which it is a menace to health. Traces physical development from egg-laying through larval and pupal stages to the emergence of the young fly. Magnified views reveal biological structure and methods of carrying and spreading disease germs. This video is in the public domain.
