Huge Portion Meal at an Argentine Bodegon! Milanesa Chicken Suprema + Dulce de Leche Ice Cream!

Come join us for a huge portion meal at an Argentine Bodegon where we devoured Milanesa Chicken Suprema and then went for gourmet ice cream for dessert. For lunch we went to an Argentine Bodegon for classic Argentine cuisine where the portions are always massive. We ended up ordering the Milanesa el Bodegon which is their specialty. I ended up getting the suprema which is basically chicken breast that has been breaded and fried. It has tomato sauce, mozzerrella, bacon, fried eggs and as sides we got a squash puree. So we also ordered empanadas as well. We got fried empanadas with meat. We got the ham and cheese ones. The cheese just oozed out of the empanada.

There was so much ham in the empanada. We loved it! Good empanadas are stuffed to the max. We loved the appetizers. The Milanesa was spilling out over the plate. So it actually was a suprema. I love this kind of food. Hearty Argentine food to the max. When you've got a huge appetite this is what you'd want to eat in the fall.

The pumpkin mash went really nice with it. It was a great meal. I felt like a beached whale afterwards.

We ended up paying $14 USD for the entire meal which was a good deal.

For dessert we decided on delicious Argentine ice cream at Helados Jauja. I ordered Merengeche which had dulce de leche with meringue. Audrey got chocolate and a mouse with berries from the forest. We ended up ordering a 1/4 of a kilo. We're supreme pigs for ice cream. Dulce de leche is the best flavor in all of Argentina in my opinion. It had such a rich flavor. It is creamy and refreshing.
