You guessed it: The only time in the year when we release SEVERAL videos in one day is when Roland launches SEVERAL promising electronic drum kits / sound modules at the first day of NAMM!

So we continue our video series with the new Roland VAD 503 kit, which is the smaller "vintage rock look" brother of the VAD 506.

VAD = V-Drums Acoustic Design (!)

The "hard facts":

-New PDA-100, PDA-120 and PDA-140F tom pads have "real" acoustic shell sizes and are equipped with a brand new 3 sensor trigger system, that delivers an authentic playing feel without "hot spotting" in the center of the head.

-The VAD kits come with the new TD-27 sound module, that combines sounds/features of the TD-17 and TD-50. It replaces it's predecessor TD-25 as the new Roland "middle class" sound module.

-TD-27 is compatible with Roland´s digital pads, both new VAD kits are equipped with a CY-18DR digital ride and a PD-140DS digital snare.
