Help give your 1965-1966 Mustang with Pony Interior interior new life with these Deluxe Pony style door panels from TMI. These are made with Masonite MDF wood backing, not flimsy cardboard backing that can easily deform especially when dampened by rain or snow. They feature original style heat seam line patterns and are offered in a variety of factory correct colors.

For installation, you'll first want to remove your original door panel. You'll then want to remove the water shield and the three screws that secure the door handle shaft to your door. Take out the old door handle shaft and replace it with your new one, and then re-install in the door.

Next, install the water shield to your door and then work on assembling the door panel for installation. This includes securing the panel trim and the pony door panel cup. Then install the bracket for the panel door cup to the door.

Line up the new pony door panel, squeeze the panel on, screw the door cup to the bracket, and install the door cup cover. Return the door handle and window crank to the door, and your installation is complete. Total installation should take up to 3 hours.
