You are the one you've been waiting for...

"Discover Your Dharma" by Sahara Rose (I took some of my favorite parts of the book and made this audio for you guys):
Your dreams are not an accident. The very reason you have them is that within them lies your dharma. Your dharma is your soul’s purpose. You will never have an idea you don’t have the ability to bring to life. The idea chose you as its ideal messenger because you are the perfect person to make it happen. However, that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen instantly or easily. The obstacles you must overcome to bring that vision to reality are the training you need to embody your purpose and share it with the world.
You realize that you are here to be of service and through following your highest joy, you serve the world.
Your journey towards embodying your dharma won’t just make you happy. It will also make you feel fulfilled, inspired, exhilarated, as well as triggered, scared, unprepared – all of it. Your dharma will show you the depth of your emotions, and that is the meaning of life: to experience your totality in this human experience. Being a human is hard, but purpose is what makes the journey worth taking.
The things that make us happy make us happy for a reason. Happiness is the path of breadcrumbs to your dharma.
Your purpose is your big why, the reason you’re here with all these thoughts, needs, and desires. We were each born with a unique purpose and this human experience is about remembering ours.
Your dharma is encoded inside of you. Your calling is to recall who you are. Your potential is limitless. If you knew how powerful you truly are, you’d be laughing at why you ever doubted yourself, even for one moment. You’d see that everything you wanted was wanting you back. The reason you wanted it was that it was always yours
We need to hear the way only you can explain things, the creations only you can create, the writing only you can channel, the ideas only you can have, the support only you can offer. Otherwise, there will forever be a void that you were born to fill.
The universe is always tugging us in the direction of our dharma, through excitement and curiosity. Honor your curiosities as if they were gems given to you by the universe. They carry the information you need to get to the next stop.
Your dharma lies in the things you deeply want to share but may be afraid to. You may feel you aren’t experienced enough, educated enough, old enough, young enough, etc., for anyone else to listen. If the desire to share is there, it is related to your dharma.
You won’t figure out your dharma sitting on the sidelines, dipping your toe in, waiting for the perfect opportunity. You have to take the leap, and that requires taking off the seat belt that’s holding you back.
Have you ever wondered why you are drawn to certain things? It’s your soul calling you.
Are you a teacher…someone who finds the lesson in their human experiences and share it with others.
The nurturer who finds their sense of purpose in caring for others
A visionary: The guru who leads you from the darkness to the light.
An entrepreneur: Here to address the problems of society through business solutions
The Artist: Put on this Earth to create beauty.
The Researcher: Here to observe the world, the object of their study, to be analyzed through their lens.
Activist: Here to bring about social, environmental, or political change.
A warrior: Here it protect. They have a strong moral compass and a deep desire to safeguard the powerless and give voice to the voiceless.
Entertainer: Here to make you laugh, cry, smile, gasp, ponder, and every emotion in between. Nothing makes them feel more alive than performing.
You were made to take up space with your light in whatever way feels truest to you.
You’ll never be 100% ready. So the important thing is to learn when you’re ready enough. You learn through the fear. If you feel like you’re totally ready for everything you are doing, you aren’t pushing yourself enough. Everyone is nervous, but the secret of successful people is that they do it anyway.
