Christopher Young Execution + Last Meal And Words | Texas Death Row Inmate....

After spending more than twelve years on death row, Christopher Anthony Young was executed by the state of Texas on July 17, 2018.

Young was sentenced to death for the 2004 robbery and murder of convenience store owner Hasmukh Patel in San Antonio, Texas. Surveillance cameras captured the moment Young entered the store, demanded money, and shot Patel during the robbery.

But the violence that morning did not begin at the convenience store. Earlier that day, Young had forced his way into a nearby apartment, sexually assaulted a mother at gunpoint in front of her children, and stole her car before driving to the Mini Food Mart where the fatal shooting took place.

The case shocked the community and led to a swift arrest after witnesses and forensic evidence tied Young directly to the crime. In 2006, a jury convicted him of capital murder, sending him to death row.

During his years in prison, Young claimed he had transformed his life and even gained support from the victim’s son, who asked the state of Texas to spare his life. But the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles denied clemency, and the execution moved forward.

In this video, we examine the full story of Christopher Young — his troubled childhood, the crimes of November 21, 2004, the trial, and the final hours that ended with a lethal injection in Huntsville, Texas.
