Looking at the hole when you putt can dramatically improve your putting by reducing the number of 3 putts you have per round AND increasing the number of 1 putts?

Too good to be true…? Well, it’s not - and I speak from personal experience that this exercise transformed my putting (saved it, actually!) and continues to help me to this day.

If you want to be a good putter, you need good speed control. Most golfers aren’t very good at this skill, primarily because they don’t give their brain the information it craves to help it determine how hard to hit a putt.

Poor putters spend too much time staring at the ball, trying to control their stroke and learning little about target. The best putters are absorbed by the target, with little to no care about their stroke mechanics.
