Georgijs Osokins speaks about Mieczysław Weinberg
On March 12, 2019 Kremerata Baltica soloists traveled to New York to perform a concert with Gidon Kremer and Georgijs Osokins based on the music of Weinberg - a composer whose centenary we are celebrating this year with many projects dedicated to him.
Young Latvian pianist Georgijs Osokins, who was recently named as a permanent artist in residence at the Kremerata Baltica (together with Lucas Debargue) agreed to take a walk with us in a Central Park and gave us a few comments about performing Weinberg in New York
