North Wales Coast diesels - An Hour at Abergele. June 19th 2023

On the evening of 19th June 2023, I spent a hour line side at Abergele and Pensarn on the North Wales Coast. The action begins with the 6G59 1954 Llandudno Jn Tc Gbrf to Bescot Down Side hauled by GBRf 66 733 named 'Cambridge PSB' heading East. We then see 1G76 2000 Bangor to Birmingham New Street made up of class 153's 914 and 323. Next ,"Super Voyager" 221 107 is seen in charge of 1D91 1702 London Euston to Holyhead passing 221 103 on the 1G00 1949 Holyhead to Birmingham New Street. 67 008 follows with the 1W96 1714 Cardiff Central to Holyhead. Finally, ex British Rail 158 821 passes from the West with the 1D98 2043 Llandudno to Chester service. Not a bad tally for an hour.
