It’s even threatened to withdraw its support for the ruling coalition if its demands for more executive power are not met. Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has pushed for a vote of no-confidence against him while opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim claims that he has the majority to form the next government. Will Mr Muhyddin Yassin survive the challenge? And will a general election resolve the power struggle once and for all?
