Finger Lakes Trail Thru-Hike Days 27-30: Bainbridge to Downsville

This vlog covers days 27-30 of my 2020 end-to-end hike of the FLT. In this section I observed the landscape begin to change, from the rolling hills and farmland I was accustomed to throughout the first few weeks to the sharper and steeper ridges of the Catskill plateau. At the Rock Rift fire tower I reached a higher elevation than I had been since western NY, although the inaccessible tower was a letdown. Some highlights of this section were great views when I passed through the region of one of the NYC water supply reservoirs; the Cannonsville reservoir, as well as a sunset from my campsite in the Bear Spring WMA. This video ends after my resupply in Downsville, the day I entered the Catskill park for the first time.
