ew restrictions are coming to Birkdale Village after a large disturbance involving minors over the weekend prompted concern from residents and business owners.

Videos posted to TikTok Saturday night showed teens dancing on top of a car and stopping traffic inside the popular Lake Norman shopping and dining destination. Community members packed a town hall meeting this week, calling the incident chaotic and unacceptable.
