John's story:
😾 Grrrr.....At one point not too long ago kitten John Wick was angry. Really, really angry. He would hiss at you. He would swat at your fingers. He was like a wild animal because he was, well, feral. But that all changed when he was fostered.

John Wick and 4 of his siblings were rescued from a cat hoarding situation. An elderly woman became overwhelmed at the number of cats at her home and the cost of feeding and fixing them. A neighbor was kind enough to trap her cats, that was bordering on feral, and has slowly been caring and fixing them one at a time. The neighbor rescued the kittens and entrusted Cats at the Studios to foster them and find them forever homes.

John Wick was the last kitten to be rescued. Four of his brothers and sisters were found one week before him. They had time to become socialized with fosters and to take the bottle. John didn't have that time for socialization so when he was finally found walking down the sidewalk by himself, he was skinny, infested with fleas, and angry - very similar to John Wick in all 3 of his movies.

When John Wick was brought to fosters, we immediately went to work with a flea bath, providing a proper diet, and finally to socialize him. At first, he wouldn't even tolerate being touched but now he warms to our touch and purrs. His eyes once flaming with anger, slowly closes in pleasure when he sees us.
