American Befriends Chinese in Japan: Speaks Fluent Chinese: Why do people FOLLOW ME in Japan?
Politics are politics, but people are people. That is the lesson for today. I am caught between the politics of countries I love: China, Japan, and America. I go to a local Chinese supermarket in Japan speaking Chinese and looking to make friends.
2 years ago I remember being followed into a restaurant and down the streets of Tokyo for over 1 hour by a mysterious old woman. I didn't realize I was being followed again today until reviewing the footage. Are people just curious? What is going on here?
