Olympus OM-System F.Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f1.8 Lens Disassembly

Full disassembly and reassembly of an Olympus OM-System F.Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f1.8 lens. Lens is disassembled down to access the diaphragm, mechanical components, optics, and body sections individually.

This lens is not too difficult to disassemble and repair, but it does have a few annoying design features. Most importantly, the diaphragm and all the mechanical parts controlling the aperture are a single piece. This makes cleaning the aperture blades more difficult.
