About the piece:
Drift Away is a 5 octave marimba solo about a man lost at sea, whose journey is at the mercy of the waves. The piece has three contrasting sections, marked by clear tempo changes in the music. Aimed at advanced-level players with proficiency in double laterals as well as mallet independence.
