Women in AR Panel

A talk from the Life Track at AWE USA 2017 - the largest conference for AR+VR in Santa Clara, California May 31- June 2, 2017.

The AR industry is expanding rapidly and promises to be bigger than VR in the near future. Women are already playing a larger role in this technology with female AR entrepreneurs focusing on a wide range of business markets, from interior architecture, marketing, storytelling, healthcare, travel and education to drone maneuvering and more. This panel will showcase many of these companies and their work, and also discuss the importance of having a gender balanced industry that benefits from equal representation. We’ll also explore the differing educational backgrounds of women and the diverse roles they perform in these new AR companies. Panelists confirmed are Jodi Schiller (New Reality Arts), Tiff Willson (Roomhints.com), Abby Albright.
