Some Advice About Becoming a Philosophy Professor

I talk about what's involved in getting an academic position teaching Philosophy, bits of the story of how I got to where I am, some of the lessons I had to learn the hard way along the road -- and I also stress that one doesn't have to go out and get a degree in order to do, or even to teach Philosophy well.
