My Garage Door is Now Smarter Than My Car (UniFi Access Install)

In this video, I install UniFi Access on my garage door using a Gate Hub and G3 Flex keypad, creating a fully functional smart garage system with PIN access.

But I took it a step further...

Unlike most setups, this system actually knows the real position of the garage door (open or closed) and reports it correctly inside the UniFi app — no guessing, no false states.

As a bonus, I repurposed a G6 Bullet camera to automatically read my license plate and trigger the garage door to open when I pull in.
