Inger Andersen: China leads the world in clean energy

Extreme weather impacted many places around the globe this summer. Many parts of the world suffered from extreme heat, floods and wildfires. What lessons could we learn from these disasters? How do we act on them? In this exclusive interview with CMG's Zou Yun, Inger Andersen, executive director of the United Nations Environment Programme, says that we should not panic and instead focus on the solutions. Andersen points out that renewable energy is the key to reducing carbon emissions. China is leading the world in electricity production from renewable energy sources, she adds.
