Blazing Fury reignites in fans hearts at @DollywoodParksAndResorts
Built in 1978, the ride has been a source of excitement and valued memories for guests, often becoming the first coaster for younger riders and a nostalgic favorite for generations of families. During its recent downtime, Dollywood teams had an opportunity to devote time and care to this iconic experience, ensuring it remains a treasured part of the park for years to come.
To celebrate the ride’s firefighting theme and to honor the heroes who tirelessly serve our community each day, members of the Pigeon Forge Fire Department will be the first riders on Blazing Fury. Chief Tony Watson from the department also will comment during the event about the dedication of his team to protect the area.
