The Pros and Cons of Living in Atlanta was tough for me, because Atlanta has been my home for 45 years. (I prefer to say "Less Loves" about my hometown.) But regardless, I hope this helps gives you a small sense of what to expect if you're thinking about moving to Atlanta!

0:59 Con: Transpo + Traffic
▶️3 interstates (I-85, I-75, I-20) converge in downtown Atlanta, which makes for BAD traffic.
▶️Commuter lanes and express lanes help, but you'll basically need a car if you're living in Atlanta.
▶️MARTA is our public transit system, but it's not that good. Limited reach, so you'll most likely still need a car and face the Atlanta traffic.
▶️Few areas to rely on biking. But if you're living in Atlanta and into biking: Edison Bicycles, an Atlanta company is definitely worth checking out. (https://www.edisonbicycles.com/)

2:08 Con: Peach SHAM
▶️There are SO many things named Peachtree. Peachtree Street, Road, Boulevard, etc. You get the point.
▶️Peach Production for the "Peach State" is only ranked #3 nationwide. What's up with that?

2:44 Con: Weather
▶️Hot and Humid! Moving to Atlanta? Better get used to it in the summer!
▶️Ever changing weather. Huge temperature swings in the same day. Sunny to rainy. Anything is possible!
