डिजिटल कैमरा में ये बोहोत ज़रूरी है की आप सही पिक्चर प्रोफाइल या सही कलर प्रोफाइल को इस्तेमाल करें। अगर आप ऐसा नहीं करते है और JPEG में शूट करते हैं तो आपकी इमेजेज के कलर आपके हिसाब से नहीं आएंगे और शार्पनेस भी ज़्यादा होगी। पर अगर आप RAW में शूट करते हैं तो इन कलर प्रोफाइल्स का इमेजेज पर कोई फरक नहीं पड़ता पर आपको camera बैक स्क्रीन पर उसका असर दिखाई देता है. वीडियो भी JPEG की ही तरह एक प्रोसेस्ड फाइल होती है जो भी पिक्चर/कलर प्रोफाइल आप अपने camera में चुनेंगे वो वीडियो पर अप्लाई हो जाएगी और बाद में चेंज करना मुश्किल हो जायेगा।

It is important to choose the right Picture Profile in your digital camera because Picture Profiles impact the colors and sharpening of your images.
When you shoot in RAW format, then picture profiles don't impact your images, and you can change it later on your editing software. But, if you are shooting in JPG, you must select the picture profiles carefully. Picture profiles are cooked in the images and can not be changed easily or without damaging the picture.
