Didcot Railway Centre, August 2020

As I travelled back across the country to end Part 2 of my Summer Roadtrip, I stopped in at the Didcot Railway Centre. Based in the buildings of the former Great Western Railway engine shed and locomotive stabling point, Didcot Railway Centre is the living museum of the Great Western Railway.

Join me as I explore the vast collection of Great Western Railway artefacts, locomotives and rolling stock, as well as experiencing both 6023 King Edward II, and 2999 Lady of Legend in steam and providing rides on the demonstration mainline, as well as 08604 Phantom providing a shunting demonstration on the Branch Line. Didcot Railway Centre is a must visit for any interested in the Great Western Railway, or in steam locomotives in general.
