SG1 Pacifica AWD to 2WD

Shifting Gears Episode 1 - 2007 Chrysler Pacifica AWD to 2WD conversion.

In this episode, we remove the transfer case and convert the Pacifica into a front wheel drive vehicle. The bearing in the transfer case has seized up and caused the gears to bind, break, and destroy the housing. IMPORTANT ADDITION:

VERY IMPORTANT! Two things we forgot to mention: When installing the 2WD axle seal, the original AWD seal's bolts will not be long enough. Make sure to install bolts that are a little longer! ALSO, the intermediate shaft or "jack shaft" is different for the FWD vs. the AWD. You will have to replace this part as well as the transmission mount and transmission seal with housing!
