Campaign records reveal Eric Swalwell spent THOUSANDS on alcohol

Ex-congressman Eric Swalwell spent thousands of dollars in campaign funds on alcohol and several trips to Las Vegas.

Swalwell, who is accused of rape and sexual assault by multiple women, made over 100 different purchases through the former alcohol delivery company Drizly over a four-year period, which began in 2020, according to federal campaign disclosures, cited by the New York Post.

Despite that timeframe, the Federal Election Commission reported that the California Democrat was responsible for about 25 percent of all political spending with the delivery company since 2019.

In July of 2021, the ex-congressman spent thousands while visiting a five-star hotel called the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.
Swalwell reportedly visited the hotel and casino three times during a 10-day trip.

According to the Post, his trip cost more than $3,100.

Even after Drizly's shutdown in 2024, Swalwell’s congressional campaigns used Uber Eats more than 220 times, racking up a bill of more than $19,000.

However, the charges do not specify whether the deliveries were alcohol or food.
