2021 Appalachian Trail charity thru-hike for Mental Health America

Hiking 2,200 miles and 14 states for mental health!

This April, we will embark on a 6 month backpacking trip of 2,193.1 miles through 14 states beginning at Springer Mountain in GA and ending at Katahdyn in ME. We are using our hike to raise funds for Mental Health America (MHA). Mental illness such as anxiety, depression, addiction, PTSD, etc. affects more than 20% of households in any given year. About half of all Americans will suffer from a diagnosable mental health condition sometime in their life. The ongoing pandemic has lead to a dramatic increase in mental health conditions and suicide.
