I had been living in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for a few months, but had recently been getting very sick. I had first recovered but then it came back and I was feeling so strange that I had to go to the hospital. The hospital in Playa Del Carmen was a total scam as they wanted to charge 700 dollars just to see the doctor. In this video you'll see some of the scams in Mexico that you encounter as a tourist and expat, as well as the hispital situation where they over charge like crazy for their services. I had previously been all over Mexico and in the Yucatan Peninsula including Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Tulum, as well as the west side of Mexico Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Manzanillo, Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, and meny other places.
