Video Details - Ninhydrrin test is a chemical detection test of proteins amino acid Amina and amonia Ninhydrrin reagent use to diffrenciate between amino acid and other molecule

Principle - Ninhydrrin reagent react with amino acid to form amonia carbon dioxide and aldehyde and reduced Ninhydrrin.
Amonia react with another molecule of Ninhydrrin reagent and reduced Ninhydrrin to form blue purple colour complex known as Ruhimaann complex if blue colour formed means sample conatin amino group while blue colour not apper means sample have absen amino group.

Requirment - १.Ninhydrrin reagent (add 0.35gm Ninhydrrin reagent into 100 ml alcohol to form Ninhydrrin reagent)

३. disttiled water
४. test tube
५. pipett

Procedure -

Take २ ml amino acid sample and few drops of Ninhydrrin reagent and heating at waterbath for 5min after 5min cooled the solution and observe purple colour develop then solution contain amino acid if purple colour no develop means solution absent in amino group.
