Biodegradable PLA material making bottle preform

The plastic pollution has been calling serious concern of people all over the world. It is the trend to find environmental friendly new material to substitute use of plastic, especially for those disposible product such as bottle, food container, cups ect.

As professional equipment manufacturer of plastic, we are leading the way in search of machinery solution for new biodegradable material injection molding techniques. Our company took iniciative to do an experiment using PLA ( polylactide acid ) to inject bottle preform. And later on we shall proceed to test it on bottle blowing machine, Let's wait to see the result.

PLA molding technique is not mature yet, but we have explored its physical and chemical property by practice, and have got a good understanding for design a good mold for it.
In comparison with Polypropylene, PLA preform has a similar grade of transparency but has a natural color of yellow instead of white. Melting temperature is slightly higher than polyethylene, and when get too hot it will turn into liquid like water. It has a good fluidity making it possible for some thin wall product, however the difficulty is how to take it out from mold safely given that PLA can easily glue on anything, which certainly shall cause trouble on ejection.
