Mitch Grassi - Mix VS Mask-Placed Head Voice (Pentatonix)

A couple months ago I took down my video talking about this subject because it was a concept I thought about and did in a couple of days, and it didn't achieve what I wanted with it. Instead it became of a place to argue about Mitch's technique and talent and that wasn't the focus. So I just waited until I found a better way to show what I wanted to do: a quick explanation at the beginning and a larger comparision section so it's a lot more visual and didactic for the viewers. And also I included a large variety of Mitch belting recently - the myth that he doesn't belt anymore it's just not realistic. He does a fair amount of belting on concerts, almost as much as singing in his masked head voice.
As explained on the end of the video, concepts aren't invented by me. No, I'm not a profesional vocal coach, but this is a relatively simple concept to explain and understand and I thought that this could be a good way to show it. Hopefully the hate would be aimed to the concepts and not me!
