Christie vs Kaylor - Boxing's Underrated Bonfire Night Grudge Match

Today on SmB Boxing we revisit the grudge match between Errol Christie and Mark Kaylor. The two fighters had an infamous dust up at a pre-bout press conference at a time when parts of the UK were in turmoil due to riots caused by inequality issues. As a result of their brawl, the police and MP's of the UK wanted the final eliminator contest to be cancelled but it would eventually go ahead in front of a packed out Wembley arena and fittingly on bonfire night of 1985. The fireworks in the sky signaling the bonfire night celebrations around the country exploded as did the action in the ring!
