Historic town of Warwick, England

Warwick is a historic market town in the county of Warwickshire in central England. Boasts of rich history from the Roman era through to Anglo Saxon era to Industrial revolution, the jewel in its crown is the 950 year old Warwick castle. You can either visit Warwick in a hectic 1 day trip from London or stay a couple of days and explore the Castle and market town at your leisurely pace which is what we did. The whole town is walkable and easily accessible from London (2 hour drive or 1.5 hour train journey). Stratford-upon-Avon is another famous town which is the birthplace of Shakespeare and only 20 mins away.
