Pearl Jam - Daughter / It's OK - July 22, 2006 - The Gorge - George, Washington State

My wife and I flew from Chicago on a Friday afternoon and rented an RV the next morning in Seattle, which we drove out to The Gorge (about 3 hours east of Seattle in George, WA). We saw the best band performing at the greatest venue I have ever been to in my life. What an experience. We were in the 4th row where I was able to capture what I think is one of the best versions of "Daughter" I have ever seen recorded live by a fan. It was over 100 degrees that week all across the country and Vedder talked about it during the song. When he waved goodbye to the sun as it set backstage simply defines cool. It was a great weekend with a ton of memories for both of us. If you ever get a chance to see a show there, do it. It's a beautiful place.
